Rod pump should be installed inside the tubing with the sucker rod.The rod pump is connected to sucker rod after being assemblied on the surface then it is pulled down to the well bottom through the tubing. It is not necessary to pull the tubing out of the well when checking the pump, which can make the operation easier and quicker.

According to seating mode, the rod pump can be divided into two types: cup hold-down pump and mechanical hold-down pump.
