Stainless steel 316 (SS316) is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel containing moderate amounts of molybdenum to improve overall corrosion resistance, especially pitting resistance to chloride ion solutions. The addition of molybdenum also improves strength at high temperatures. Therefore, SS316 is also called the MO-Added version of SS304. Stainless steel 316L (SS316L) is an ultra-low carbon version of SS316 that minimizes harmful carbide deposition during welding. SS316 and SS316L have excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acid; And against acid sulfates and basic chlorides. They are widely used in exhaust manifolders, heat exchangers, pharmaceutical equipment, cryogenic piping, valve and pump internals, chemical and petrochemical processes, pulp and paper industries, and the food industry

Precautions for using metal junction box in threading pipe:

1)The current threaded pipe is galvanized pipe. It's soldered together and it's strong. When connecting a metal junction box, clean the nozzle of the cable pipe. Insert one end into the metal junction box and secure it with a nut. The junction box can be connected to the four sides of the junction box, which is very convenient. The pipe mouth is sealed with tape to prevent the metal junction box from rusting due to the influence of humidity.

2)The use of metal junction box in pipe threading project facilitates construction and installation, shortens construction time and saves manpower.

3) Its high strength and low deformation compared to plastic junction boxes make it suitable for this type of threaded pipe project. The use of galvanized threading pipe greatly improves the anti-corrosion performance of the project, and improves the safety and service life of the project.
