Product Description

The standard slew drives are fitted with an open housing while an open housing is failed to give the parts a good IP rating. Hangtuo's slewing drives are with enclosed housing which provides the slewing drive a IP66 ingress protection. That helps the slewing drive can be worked in harsh environment. Our slewing drive have the feature of self locking hourglass worm shaft. Once the power source input is returned to neutral, the worm shaft will lock the load into position without requiring any external braking device. ​

Applications

Transport, Handling & Storage

Transport only in horizontal position, impacts should be avoided.

Wear work gloves and be careful when handling the slew drive.

Use the holes of the rings in the slew drives to fix bolts for safe hoisting, handling and placement.

Store only in a horizontal position and in closed rooms, keep it away from getting wet, the surface corrosion protection of exposed mating surfaces lasts approximately 1 month in closed packaging. Longer period storage requires special protective measures.

Transporting unpacked slewing drives

Use suitable lifting gear/ never transport product vertically

Unpacked slew drives can be transported with lifting gear under the following conditions:

1. The lifting gear must be configured appropriately for the unit transport load.

2. The ring bolts must be configured appropriately for the weight of the transport unit.

3. The slew drive shall only be transported by itself.

4. Transport within the company shall only be executed horizontally.
