Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber
500% Elongation 6Mpa Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber for
Production of Cable Terminations
DESCRIPTION
Injection Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a specialized silicone rubber that is specifically formulated for injection molding processes. It is a versatile material that can be shaped into intricate and complex parts with high precision and accuracy. During the injection molding process, LSR is injected into a mold cavity under high pressure, where it takes the shape of the mold and sets into a solid material. LSR boasts excellent mechanical properties such as high elongation, resistance to tearing, and compression set resistance, making it an ideal material for applications that require durability, flexibility, and heat resistance. Injection molding LSR is a cost-effective and efficient production process that offers high production rates, short cycle times, and low waste. LSR's unique properties make it suitable for various applications, including medical devices, automotive components, consumer goods, and electronics, among others.

HOW TO USE
The mixing ratio is 1:1 by weight. Component of group A and group B
is supplied into injection molding equipment from attached storage
part of machine, and through the static mixer to mix before inject
into mold. The pot life is 4 hours at 25℃ after mixed, but higher
temperature will short it.
If the injection molding equipment will have a long time to leave
unused, please clean remained rubber timely, or keep them in sealed
packing under low temperature (-10℃ at least).
CURING CONDITION
The vulcanization can be heat accelerated. The curing time depends
on mold size.
The necessary time of thermal conduction should be fully counted in
case of the mold size is big enough. The cooling and demold time
also depend on the article size and the curing temperature.
PACKING & SHIPPING
The product is supplied in 2×20Kg plastic drum, net weight.
The product has a shelf life of 6 months at least if stored in the
sealed original container between 0℃ to 30℃.
Storage time beyond the specified data does not mean that the
product is no longer usable. In which case, the properties,
required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance
reasons.
There is no shipping limitation.
COMPATIBILITY
Certain materials, chemicals, curing agents and plasticizers can inhibit the cure of rubber. Most notable of these include:
If a substrate or material is questionable with respect to potentially causing inhibition of cure, it is recommended that a small scale compatibility test be run to ascertain suitability in a given application. The presence of liquid or uncured product at the interface between the questionable substrate and the cured gel indicates incompatibility and inhibition of cure.
ATTENTION
As components of group A and group B have been confirmed without
toxic and aggressive substances over past years, no
need special preventive measure, only requests to use the general
industrial health standard.
It should avoid contacting with nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur
compound and organic tin or other heavy metal compound because of
being easy to be inactivated. The containers should be keeping
clean.
Temperature will impact pot life of mixed rubber, the higher
temperature, the shorter pot life.
