Installation Steps

First, loosen the nuts of the four wheels (generally, the four shock absorbers are replaced at the same time) in diagonal order, and do not completely unscrew them.

Then use the lift to lift the car, it doesn't need to be too high, the wheels are just a certain distance from the ground, which is convenient for operation.

Next use the socket to completely unscrew the wheel nuts in diagonal order to remove the wheel.

Depending on the vehicle model, it may be necessary to disassemble the brake cylinder to facilitate the removal of the shock absorber, then remove the fixing bolt of the support arm, and then loosen the fixing nut of the spring support arm.

Use the caliper jack to fix the shock absorber arm, open the engine hood and loosen the body fixing nut on the upper end of the shock absorber (do not unscrew it completely), turn the caliper jack to lift the shock absorber arm upward until the lower end of the shock absorber is in contact with the front Separate the fixed part of the bridge, then slowly move the shock absorber, and then slowly lower the shock absorber arm until the shock absorber elasticity is completely released, then completely loosen the body fixing nut at the upper end of the shock absorber, and remove the shock absorber.

After removing the shock absorber, use the shock absorber spring remover to fix the spring to avoid the spring moving up and jumping out when the top screw is removed. It is best to disassemble the shock absorber. Two repairmen are needed, one is responsible for supporting, and the other One turns a screw.

Disassemble and replace the damaged parts of the shock absorber and the rubber cover. Generally, the shock absorber spring does not need to be replaced if there is no serious corrosion or breakage.
