ASTM C23030 Common Brass Seamless Tubes With Great Corrosive
Resistance
1. Description
ASTM C23030 brass pipe has high strength, good plasticity and high
corrosion resistance in atmosphere, fresh water and sea water.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. If it is only made of copper
and zinc, it is called ordinary brass. If the alloy is composed of
more than two elements, it is called special brass. Such as lead,
tin, manganese, nickel, lead, iron, silicon copper alloy and so on.
Brass has a strong wear resistance. It has high strength, high
hardness and strong chemical corrosion resistance. The mechanical
properties of cutting are also outstanding. The seamless copper
tube drawn by brass is soft and wear-resistant. Brass seamless tube
can be used in heat exchanger and condenser, low temperature
pipeline and submarine transportation pipeline.
