Titanium has good plasticity. The elongation of high-purity titanium is 50% to 60%, and the cross-sectional shrinkage is 70% to 80%.


The specific strength (ratio of strength to weight) of industrial pure titanium tubes is very high among metal structural materials. Its strength is comparable to that of steel, but its weight is only 57% of that of steel. In addition, titanium tubes have high heat resistance and can still maintain good strength and stability in high temperature environments of 500°C.
