Due to its excellent conductivity, a copper square bar in grade C101, which we stock in considerable quantities This grade of copper is frequently used in electrical applications and also a popular material for use in general electronics, motor components, gas plants, sculpture, and architectural aspects.

Advantages Of C101 Grade For Copper Square Bar

The formability of the copper square bar made from C101 is good, especially when using cold working techniques. Electric arc techniques like flux cored arc welding and soldering also provide great results.

A naturally hygienic material to use, copper square bar slows and kills viruses including e-Coli, MRSA, legionella, and flu and cold viruses because it is antimicrobial. Slugs are effectively repelled by it as well.

C101 is an oxygen-free electronic copper grade with a copper purity of 99.99 per cent and an oxygen value of 0.0005.

This grade is prized more for its chemical purity than for its electrical conductivity, and it has a minimum IACS conductivity rating of 101%. It is meticulously controlled and polished in an oxygen-free atmosphere.

One of the most expensive grades of copper is C101.
