Description:

GB/T 33364-2016 Single Lay Strand Offshore Mooring Steel Wire Rope steel core mainly used for long tern mooring,such as positioning and anchoring of mobile drilling platform, floating production unit and offshore loading system which longer than 5 years. It shall be an independent wire rope(IWRC) and has large metal cross-sectional areas, providing high tensile strength-to-diameter ratios and torque balance at high axial stiffness and tension.All wires in a strand constructed in the same direction of lay.Because of its structure, the seawater into the center of the wire rope is much more difficult than the ordinary wire rope, more suitable for plastic coating to improve corrosion resistance.
