The generator automatic voltage regulator can automatically adjust the output voltage of the generator by controlling the excitation current of the alternator AC exciter. The generator voltage regulator can meet the requirements of ordinary 60/50Hz and intermediate frequency 400Hz single or parallel operation of generators. The voltage regulator (AVR for short) is specially designed for the basic wave, harmonic compound excitation or AC brushless generator equipped with permanent magnet generator excitation (PGM system). Since the transmission ratio between the generator and the engine is fixed, the speed of the generator will vary with the speed of the engine. In the process of running, the engine speed varies in a wide range, and the terminal voltage of the generator will also vary in a wide range with the engine speed. The generator is required to supply power to the electrical equipment and charge the battery, and its voltage is stable, so in order to keep the voltage at a certain value, it must be adjusted to the output voltage of the generator
