Confirmation before clutch installation
1. Whether the model of the clutch is compatible with the model and
engine model;
2. Check whether the clutch pressure plate is deformed or damaged
due to falls, bumps, etc. during transportation, unpacking, and
handling.
Inspection and cleaning during clutch installation
1. Clean up the debris in the flywheel and clutch housing;
2. Check the flywheel working surface for scratches, cracks,
ablation and discoloration, if any, replace it in time;
3. Check the wear of the clutch disc. The surface of the friction
plate has uneven contact or is smooth. It is allowed to use
130-150# sandpaper for grinding or replacement. From each rivet
head to the surface of the friction plate, the dent value limit is
0.5mm. If the limit value is exceeded, replace it.
4. Clean the debris and anti-rust oil on the clutch pressure plate;
5. Check whether the release bearing, clutch fork, rear guide
bearing, clutch rocker and other related parts are normal
Precautions when installing the clutch
1. Pressure plate positioning: The six screw mounting holes of the
clutch pressure plate, two of which are slightly larger, are
arranged oppositely, and have a small hole on each edge, which is
the pressure plate positioning hole;
2. Oil stains: It is strictly forbidden to touch the clutch
pressure plate with oily objects such as hands or rags;
3. Clutch spline: The spline teeth of the clutch disc should be
able to slide freely on the gear one shaft;
4. Screw tightening: All bolts should be tightened in multiple
times according to the specified torque, alternating diagonally
Adjustment after clutch installation
After installation, check the free gap between the release bearing
and the diaphragm spring or the free gap of the clutch pedal;
The free stroke of the clutch rocker arm is 2mm-4mm; the free
stroke of the clutch pedal is 15mm-25mm
Precautions for driving after clutch installation
Pay attention to vehicles that have just replaced the clutch
pressure plate and clutch disc;
1. Overload; 2. Long-term use of semi-clutch; 3. Avoid high-end
starting
