It is also woven with stainless steel wire, to stabilize the wire mesh and prevent the wire from moving, so it is also called wrapped edge stainless steel wire mesh, or closed edge stainless steel wire mesh.

The material could be all types of stainless steel wires, and other metal wires that could be drawn into the right size with certain properties. Generally speaking, a selvage will increase the stability of the whole mesh.

Because of this special edge on both sides of the mesh, only the plain weave type is suitable for it. And the mesh count was also limited from 1 mesh to 30 mesh.
