API 16A Standard Annular BOP Packing Element For Oilfield
All BOP can be utilized in place of Shaffer, Cameron, or Hydril ram
BOP because they are all rigorously made in accordance with API
Spec 16A.
The hydraulic BOP ram operates by applying hydraulic pressure to
both open and close. The ram can be manually closed in the absence
of electricity. The ram needs to be manually locked when the well
needs to be closed for an extended amount of time. The hydraulic
ram BOP has two uses: it can be utilized alone or in conjunction
with other BOP.
With its assortment of pipe rams, the hydraulic ram BOP is capable
of sealing not only the hollow well without pipe string but also
the annular space between the casing and drilling equipment.
