It withstands long-term temperature exposures, ranging from -40 to +60 °С and ultraviolet, reduces the risk of static electricity accumulation, and is fire- and chemical- proof. 8-strand mooring ropes are made of polypropylene fiber in combination with other polymers. It is light in weight and has breaking load by 30-40% higher than polypropylene rope of the same diameter.
