BS700MCK2 is one of a series of high-strength steel, China special steel limited, engineering machinery series of high-strength, ultra high strength structural steel. Good Weldability --- carbon equivalent(Ceq) and weld crack sensitivity index(Pcm)

Ceq = C + Mn/6 (Cu + Ni)/15 + (Cr + Mo + V)/5
Pcm =C + Si/30 + (Mn + Cu + Cr)/20 + Ni/60 + Mo/15 + V/10 + 5B

The number of samples required for each batch of steel sheet and strip the test items, sampling methods, test methods shall be in accordance with Table 1

BS700MCK2 steels plate/sheet are featured :
1 . Good formability. All grades of BS steel can be cold formed.
2 . Excellent welding performance. The steels have low welding crack sensitivity and the properties of welding joint are good.
3 . Good toughness at low temperature.
