The role of the pump car battery is obvious, its role is to start the engine, to the starter, ignition system and other main electrical equipment power supply, as well as to assist in the generator power supply, while also absorbing the instantaneous overvoltage in the circuit to protect the electrical equipment. It is a device that converts chemical energy into electrical energy and is a reversible low-voltage DC power supply. It should be noted that ordinary water such as tap water, river water, and well water cannot be added as distilled water.
Concrete pump car lead-acid battery is most afraid of two things: low temperature and excessive discharge. Practice has proved that when the ambient temperature rises by 1°C, the battery capacity will increase by 0.8%. Conversely, when the ambient temperature is reduced by 1°C, the battery capacity will also be reduced by 0.8%! When the temperature is as low as -10°C, the battery capacity is only 72% of the normal value; When the temperature is as low as -20°C, the capacity of the battery is only 64% of the normal value.

Keep the exterior of the boom pump battery clean, and often remove dust and dirt on the battery cover and spilled electrolyte to help prevent self-discharge. Check the small hole on the battery cover regularly to keep it unblocked; If the hole is blocked, the resulting gas will burst the battery. Check pump car electrolyte level frequently. The electrolyte in the battery will be decomposed and reduced by natural evaporation when charging, after the surface of the plate is exposed, the exposed part will be quickly vulcanized, so that the battery capacity becomes smaller, even if the electrolyte is added and then submerged, it is difficult to restore the vulcanized part of the plate. Therefore, the liquid level in the battery should be checked in time and injected with distilled water or electrolyte in a timely manner.
