Working principle:

The piston is the "heart" of the automobile engine, which bears alternating mechanical and thermal loads. It is one of the key components in the engine with extremely poor working conditions. The role of the piston is to withstand the gas pressure, through the piston pin transfer to the connecting rod, drive the crankshaft rotation. The top of the piston is also part of the combustion chamber. ​

The aluminum piston expands greatly when heated, and the piston pin should be installed in the piston pin hole with a certain tightness at room temperature. When installing, the piston should be preheated to about 90℃ in oil or water, then take out the piston, and push into the piston pin hole smoothly with the piston pin (pay attention to the assembly direction).

Maintenance of excavator:

(1) Maintenance above 4000h. Add the check on the water pump every 4000h. Replace the hydraulic oil every 5000h.

② Long-term storage. When the machine is stored for a long time, in order to prevent the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder from rusting, the working device should be placed on the ground; The machine should be cleaned and dried and stored in a dry indoor environment. Park the machine on a well-drained concrete floor; Before storage, fill the tank, lubricate all parts, replace the hydraulic oil and oil, coat the exposed metal surface of the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder with a thin layer of butter, remove the negative terminal of the battery, or remove the battery and store it separately; Add appropriate proportion of antifreeze in cooling water according to the lowest ambient temperature; Start the engine and operate the machine once a month to lubricate the moving parts and recharge the batteries at the same time; Turn on the air conditioner and run it for 5-10 minutes.

• Higher thermal conductivity. At operating temperatures the liners heat up more than the cylinders and must be able to expand in both diameter and length. If they were cast together with the cylinders, the resulting thermal loading would be high enough to fracture the materials.

• Less risk of defects. The more complex a casting, the more difficult it is to achieve perfectly even surfaces with low residual stresses.
