By connecting with a Zigbee hub, the smoke detector sends an alarm message to the hub immediately once detecting the smoke. It acts much faster than a wifi smoke detector. The heartbeat of the smoke detector is 4 hours, it will send a signal to the hub, informing that it is working normally.
