Hastelloy B2 Fittings is used in high temperature and high corrosion prone applications. The material is corrosion resistant and heat resistant because of its unique composition. It is a nickel molybdenum chromium super alloy that is stabilized with tungsten. The Hastelloy B2 Fittings come under the ASTM B366 specification. The seamless fittings can be used in instrumental applications as they are smoother than the buttweld fittings. But the buttweld fittings are used for their strength. There are different types such as the Alloy B2 Buttweld Pipe Elbow which is preferred over the bend because of the gradual change in direction of flow. There are long radius and short radius elbows as well. And they usually come in 45 degrees and 90 degrees angles. The size of the fittings varies from ½ inches to 48 inches in nominal diameter.
