Product Description:

Copper Slag is an industrial by-product of iron silicate, obtained from the processing of copper ore. It is characterised by its black colour and angular shape, and is mainly used as an abrasive in sandblasting and waterjet cutting. The melting point of Copper Slag is 1450℃, and its size ranges from 0-2mm. It also has a thermal expansion coefficient of 2.5×10-6/℃ and a thermal conductivity of 0.2-0.3W/m.K. Copper Slag abrasive is widely used for surface preparation and cleaning in various industries, such as marine and aerospace engineering, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, metal fabrication and power generation. In addition, it is also used for surface preparation before coating and painting, and for abrasive blasting of masonry, stone, and concrete surfaces. Copper Slag abrasive is an economical, safe and environmentally friendly alternative to regular sandblasting materials.
