Product Description
General Electric developed the DS200SLCCG3A card as a LAN (local area network) communication board. The card is a member of GE’s Mark V family of drive and exciter boards. The card is universally accepted in a wide range of GE brand drives and exciters. When installed it provides the space needed to process and interface with incoming LAN communications.

Installing the DS200SLCCG3A communication board provides the host with both nonisolated and isolated communications circuits. The device’s integrated LAN control processor (LCP) filters and processes signals sent to and from the board. Space program storage for the LCP is integrated in the two detachable EPROM memory cartridges found on board. A dual ported RAM is featured on the board as well. It provides interfacing space for the LCP with the host’s drive control card. The board is completed with an attachable keypad. Easy access to system settings and diagnostics is provided to the user via this alphanumeric programmer.

Boards purchased from AX Control will be shipped in a static resistant and protective plastic bag. The device should not be removed until all manufacturer provided installation parameters have been reviewed. Only permit qualified users to handle and install the DS200SLCCG3A LAN communication board. All wiring and installation directions are available in the series manual as well as the device datasheet. Technical support for this card was originally provided by the series manufacturer, General Electric.
