This pump control module is a microprocessor-based pump control module that generates the motor start curve to follow the pump's starting characteristics. The 41391-454-01-B1FX Pump Control Module also provides facilities to allow the users to monitor the pump-start through its display unit.

The 41391-454-01-B1FX Pump Control Module belongs to the Allen-Bradley 41391 line of spare parts. It can be used for reducing surges in a fluid piping system. This module can also mitigate check valve slamming and fluid hammering in a fluid piping system. The pump control function of this module has 3 main operating modes for controlling the pumps, and they are the SMC option, stop time, and starting modes. The allowable time for the pump stopping function is 0 to 120 seconds. The pump stopping function of the 41391-454-01-B1FX Module allows the users to set the time. This module provides 3 buttons for the pump control modes, and they are a green start button, a red stop button, and the jog button. The module also has indicator LEDs that are the Net A, Net B, Mod, and Port LEDs. It provides adjustable starting and stopping times. It also includes a backspin timer feature. When starting and stopping, this module removes the surges by controlling the speed of the motor.
