Strong High-Strength Double Sheath Armored GYTY53
Description
The cable configuration involves fibers housed within a flexible tube made of high-strength plastic, filled
with a water-resistant compound. Positioned at the core is a steel wire, sometimes coated with polyeth-
ylene (PE) for higher fiber count cables, serving as a metallic strength member. Surrounding this member,
tubes and fillers are stranded to form a compact circular core. To safeguard against water ingress, the cable
core is filled with the filling compound and covered by a thin PE inner sheath. Following this, a PSP layer is
longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, completing the cable with a protective PE outer sheath.
