Funing is founded by world renowned material scientists and world glass process experts, with the fundamental researched since 2012.
China is the largest country to manufacture and use of Mercury thermometer, accounts of 90% of worldwide Mercury thermometer production with total of 200 million pieces a year.

Funing started the basic material research since 2012, after 3 years and hundreds of testing, it has finally developed a Gallium based compound material which can replace the Mercury in the thermometer. With the liquidity parameters fully meet the thermometer usage, Funing has become the only company in China who has the knowhow competence from the raw material to the process of manufacturing Mercury free thermometers.

Funing is one of the first company who have received CFDA approval and CE certification in China for manufacturing Mercury free thermometers. It has two type Mercury free thermometers: large size and medium size, both has been rigorously tested by government medical testing institution, the constant accuracy of at 37 and 41 Celsius degree within -0.05 Celsius degree.
The company has two invention patents and two new design patents.
The company has the capability to produce 2 million units per year and can be quickly expanded to 20 million units per year.
