How to Install Zigzag Springs in a Sofa

Tools Needed:

• Spring clips (C-clips or hog rings)

• Spring stretcher tool

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Measure & Cut:

   • Determine required length (allow 5% extra for tension).

   • Cut using bolt cutters or an angle grinder.

2. Attach to Frame:

   • Secure ends with C-clips or hog rings (spaced 6–8 inches apart).

   • Use 3 clips per end for stability.

3. Tension Adjustment:

   • Slightly stretch springs (5–10% extra length) before final clipping.

   • Ensure even spacing (4–6 inches between springs).

4. Test for Stability:

   • Press down to check bounce and alignment.
