The built-in aerostat filter blocks microorganisms and particulate matter with >99.99% efficiency to protect patients from aerosolized bacteria during suctioning. Each Precision Medical Suction Canister features an integrated mechanical shutoff valve that closes when fluids reach the top of the canister to prevent spills and backflow.
