Why do you need long reach excavator arm
The long-reach Excavator Arms provide numerous advantages compared to standard excavator arms. The inclusion of the Zhonghe Excavator Long Boom allows excavators to achieve greater depths, heights, and distances, thereby offering enhanced flexibility and versatility. Moreover, the long arm of the excavator enables more precise operations in confined spaces, thanks to its smaller digging radius compared to larger excavators.

The Zhonghe Long Reach upgrade package significantly enhances the excavator's capabilities, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness across a wide range of projects. These projects include deep foundation excavation, industrial demolition, precision dredging at greater depths or heights, large-scale excavation projects, barge unloading, tank cleaning, municipal engineering, railway construction, river dredging, river cleaning, and any task where standard boom and stick assemblies are impractical or inefficient.

How can we ensure the quality of our excavator long arm
For Materials:
The primary material of the boom and arm is Shaogang Q355B and Q690D, the Hydraulic tubes are national standard precision seamless, and the pins are 40MuCr, The high-pressure hoses consist of four layers of steel rings, while the grease pipe is a single-layer hose. The bushing, driven into the base of the boom, is made of graphite alloy copper sleeve.
Our production process:
1. The extended arm plate is precision-cut using a plasma cutting needle to ensure accuracy.
2. Before welding, the plate edges are milled (tapered) using a large edge milling machine. This allows for deep penetration of the weld into the steel plate, enhancing the overall performance of the structure.
3. Flaw detection tests are conducted using specialized instruments after welding.
4. After welding, a double-sided large-scale floor-standing boring machine is employed for precision boring. This ensures the long-reach arm concentricity during operation and extends its service life.
5. Following grinding, a sandblasting process is carried out to achieve a specific level of roughness and cleanliness on the long arms. This enhances their strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance.
Precision:
1. Tolerance within 5-10um
Hole drilling tolerance is within 5-10um, ensure accuracy.
2. Reach deeper and higher
The max work range and the max digging height are larger as the angle of the boom and arm can reach 163 degrees.
3. High work efficiency and saving fuel
Lighter while taking into account the quality, not only ensures work efficiency but also saves fuel.
