What is rapid prototyping?
Rapid prototyping is a product development method that utilizes
turnkey manufacturing techniques to rapidly produce multiple
iterations of components for testing and evaluation. In other
words, it is a way to make parts as fast as possible for actual
inspection. In addition to
3D printing, other common rapid prototyping processes include CNC
machining, sheet metal manufacturing, and rapid injection molding.
Speed and affordability are key tenets of rapid prototyping, which
allows multiple prototype designs to be manufactured at once, or
one
prototype to be modified and reworked in rapid succession. These
prototypes provide critical information to help engineers make
design
decisions prior to functional testing and production.
Rapid prototyping services can be used to test various designs and
materials because the usual financial and time risks are
eliminated. This reduces the risk that can occur if a project is
moved forward without sufficient information.
The advantage of 3D Printing services:
- 100% visual inspection for every part
- Parts made in the China
- Parts as fast as 12 hours
- ISO 9001:2015 | AS9100D | ITAR Registered
Advantages of JYH mould's 3D Printing Prototyping Services
| Endless Options | There are millions of possible combinations that can result from
using 3D printing services for making prototypes. You are free to
use all kinds of materials with varying finishes and tolerances to
create high-quality prototypes.
|
| Easy to Use | The technology is not as complicated as many make it out to be.
Everything can be made quickly and delivered to the client without
a need for sourcing out part of the work to third-party entities.
Everything is handled in one place.
|
| Guaranteed Quality | Every raw material used is the best in the market, and this ensures
that the end result is of similar build and construction. Our
products are made to perfection and function exactly as they are
prescribed to.
|
| High precision and Repeatability | The ability of our 3D printing machine to reduce accurate replicas
of complex samples as many times as needed ensures that we are able
to meet the clients’ needs ahead of the set deadline, allowing them
more room to further plan their distribution.
|
| Cost-Effective | You don’t have to pour all your money just to create unique
prototypes. We offer cheap services for high-quality products at no
extra cost. All you need to do is provide the blueprints for the
products you want to be developed, and we handle the rest on your
behalf.
|
| Experienced Engineers | We have a team of experienced engineers who have years of work
behind them. They know exactly what they are doing and even go out
of their way to offer improvements that would make your products
even better.

Increase Infill Density
One way of increasing the strength of a 3d print is by increasing
the interior density. The interior density ranges from 0% to 100%,
with zero means totally hollow while 100 means totally solid.
Theoretically, having a 100 infill density should make your 3D
print very strong. However, practically most designers have noticed
that anything beyond 70% has a lesser impact on strengthening the
3D print. Instead, there is a tremendous increase in filament use,
printing time, cost, and burden on the 3D printer.

ABS is a low cost plastic material with outstanding impact
resistance, machinability, and thermoforming characteristics. It is
an excellent choice
for machine housings, retail store fixtures, and point-of-purchase
displays when impact resistance or durability is required.ABS
plastic is
available in general purpose, machine grade, fire-rated, UV
resistant, orthotic grade, FDA compliant grade, and scratch
resistant grades in a variety of textures and colors.

It’s important to note that rapid prototyping is not the same as 3D
prnting.Rapid Prototyping is a broader term that involves creating
prototypes using various manufacturing processes like CNC
machining. 3D printing is one of the manufacturing processes used
for rapid prototyping.
Rapid prototyping with 3D printing can produce models of any shape,
size, and material. Examples include simple components such as
gears,
car or electronic device parts, or even a large-scale model of an
architectural structure.
3D printing is actually laser rapid prototyping, such as current
SLA/SLS, etc., all belong to 3D printing. The 3D printed prototype
model is made into the first part through a laser rapid prototyping
machine. After polishing, it is used as a model part of the mold.
As a new prototype processing technology, 3D printing reduces
production costs and time costs. The technology is relatively
mature. Processing It has the characteristics of low cost, and the
processed products are similar to those manufactured by traditional
methods, so it is favored by more and more companies. The general
structure and appearance prototypes can be printed with
photosensitive resin, and the performance test prototypes can be
printed with nylon.
