430 stainless steel is a universal steel grade with excellent corrosion resistance. Its thermal conductivity is stronger than that of austenite, its coefficient of thermal expansion is smaller than that of austenite, it is heat-resistant and fatigue resistant, and the addition of stabilizing element titanium results in good mechanical properties at the weld joint. Due to its high cost-effectiveness, 430 steel grade has become a substitute for 304 stainless steel in many application fields. However, compared with 304 steel grade, its corrosion resistance and deep processing performance still have their limitations.
