Product Description:

The mattresses are relatively small in height to the dimension of a gabion and are generally used for channel linings. Our gabions and mattresses are manufactured from welded wire mesh or hexagonal wire mesh panels, Mattresses like gabions, are wire mesh fabric containers, uniformly partitioned, of variable size, interconnected with other siar containers and filled with stone at the site of use, to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, sea walls, channel linings, revetments and weirs for earth retention.

How to built gabions?

Step 1
Open the bundle and unfold each unit.

Step 2
Lift the sides, the ends and the diaphragms of each unit into vertical position.

Step 3
Attach the sides of four corners together with locking wire fastener or lacing wire and the diaphragms to the front and back of the gabion.

Surface treatment of gabion mattress: The woven steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavy zinc coated steel wire or pvc coated wire.

Gabion mattress application:

The river mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. River mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible and permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control.
