How to activate 18650 power lithium battery?

1) Charging: First of all, insert the newly purchased 18650 power lithium battery into a professional lithium battery charger for charging. During the initial charge, it is recommended to choose a lower charging current for charging to avoid excessive impact on the battery, and it is generally recommended to choose a charging current of 0.5C for the initial charge, and the battery can be unplugged after it is fully charged.

2) Discharge: Connect the fully charged 18650 power lithium battery to the device or electronic load for a complete discharge process. The discharge can activate the chemical reaction inside the battery, so that the battery can achieve the best performance state.

3) Cycle charge and discharge: Repeat the cycle process of charging and discharging, it is usually recommended to carry out 3-5 cycles of charge and discharge to ensure that the chemicals inside the battery are fully activated and improve the performance and cycle life of the battery.
