Installation Method

Grooved acoustic panel are typically installed on to battens in a
simple tongue and groove fashion to create a seamless finish . The
cavity should include a sound absorbing mineral fiber or acoustic
foam which will together help increase the acoustic performance .
Panel can be mounted either with grooves running horizontally or
vertically .
Left : A typical installation with panels mounted on 50mm plywood
battens , black tissue to the rear of the panels and 50mm of
mineral fiber or acoustic foam in the cavity .
For the ceiling , the same approach can be taken and applied plywood strips which are in turn fixed to an ceiling system . The planks are glued and pinned through the grooves , with mineral fiber or acoustic foam in the cavity to together help create to increase sound absorption .
