display module based on super-twisted nematic technology. This
complete assembly includes STN/FSTN liquid crystal panels, frames,
zebra paper (conductive rubber strips), and PCB (printed circuit
board). It offers advantages such as low power consumption, wide
viewing angle, moderate cost, and excellent visibility in sunlight.

Product Core Composition and Characteristics
STN/FSTN Liquid Crystal Panels
- STN Liquid Crystal: Super Twisted Nematic technology with liquid crystal molecules
twisted 180°-270°. Capable of driving more pixels than TN screens
with greater information display capacity. Available in yellow,
green, and blue colors with typical displays showing blue
background white characters or yellow background black characters.
Ideal for text and simple graphics with lower power consumption
than TFT and response speed of 150-200ms.
- FSTN Liquid Crystal: Film Compensated STN with added compensation film to eliminate
chromatic dispersion, achieving black background white characters
or white background black characters. Offers improved contrast and
viewing angles, making it the preferred choice for high-end
monochrome displays requiring superior clarity.
- Both support reflection, semi-transmission, and transmission
display modes. Reflective types require no backlight for extremely
low power consumption in outdoor applications, while transmission
types include backlighting for low-light environments.
Frame
The frame provides structural support for the display assembly,
typically manufactured from engineering plastics like ABS or metal
materials. Key functions include: fixing the liquid crystal panel,
PCB, and backlight components; sealing against dust and moisture;
positioning tabs or installation holes for rapid assembly; and
serving as a shading device to enhance display contrast.
Zebra Paper (Conductive Rubber Strip)
Zebra paper is a flexible conductive connection component that
connects liquid crystal panel electrodes with the PCB.

contains conductive material (carbon powder or metal coating) and
white parts provide insulation. Features include: accommodation of
small spacing deviations between panel and PCB; easy installation
without welding; vibration buffering protection; and cost-effective
