DOWSIL™ 7091 is a high-performance neutral-cure silicone adhesive/sealant, formulated as a one-part system that cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. It features a non-sag paste consistency for easy application and cures into a tough, flexible rubber.

DOWSIL™ 7091 is engineered for applications demanding strong yet flexible bonds, especially between materials with differing thermal expansion rates (e.g., glass-to-metal or glass-to-plastic). It exhibits excellent adhesion to substrates like painted steel, aluminum, ceramics, glass, and select engineered plastics without primer, achieving 100% cohesive failure.

• Cure System: Alkoxy cure, with cure depth dependent on humidity and time.

• ​Temperature Stability: Stable and flexible from -40°C to 180°C (-40°F to 356°F).

• ​Certifications: Complies with railway standard EN 45545-2 (HL1-R22, HL2-R23, HL3-R24).

• ​Mechanical Properties: Low hardness (Shore A 32), high elongation (680%), and tear-resistant (15 kN/m).
