Product introduce
Lithium battery explosion chamber is mainly used for lithium battery thermal runaway combustion and even explosion experiments. Lithium battery explosion action quickly, the instantaneous release of energy is huge, and the release of a variety of toxic and harmful gases, so the experiment in a sealed environment, the need to follow the process of pressurization of the explosion impact to design pressure-resistant tank.
Core explosion chamber is mainly composed of the following parts: explosion chamber, heating system, pressure detection system, temperature detection system, air purging system, nitrogen filling system, vacuum system, gas sampling system, data acquisition system, computer;
Equipment features: simulation of monomer battery thermal runaway gas production, used to assess the monomer battery thermal runaway when the gas production, rate, composition. Temperature, pressure and voltage data can be collected during the test; and the runaway gas can be sampled and collected along with the reaction time; and it has the functions of video monitoring, simulated vacuum and inert gas atmosphere.
This test program is designed and developed with reference to UL9540A standard, which can meet the requirements of UL9540A standard for thermal runaway test of electric core. The overall design is based on the characteristics of the core level test, taking into account that the test product is different from general products, to ensure maximum safety and reliability of the whole system.
Core level test characteristics are mainly thermal runaway and gas composition and explosion characteristics, the test program is divided into four parts: First, lithium battery explosion chamber for lithium battery thermal runaway combustion and even explosion experiments; Second, gas chromatography analysis, thermal runaway after the generation of a variety of gas composition analysis. Third, the explosion limit test, used to test combustible gases or vapors combustion and explosion of the upper limit of concentration and lower limit of concentration, as well as the explosion pressure, explosion index, etc.; Fourth, the release of the gas combustion rate test, combustible gases in the vertical glass tube combustion speed and related auxiliary parameters, to achieve the combustible gas combustion rate measurement;

Tank structure
The experimental chamber is designed as a cylindrical tank, placed
horizontally;
