1. Working principle
The deep well pump is driven by a motor to rotate the impeller at
the lower end of the pump shaft, generating centrifugal force that
throws water from the center of the impeller towards the edge,
lifts it through the flow channel inside the pump casing to the
outlet, and finally transports it to the ground through the lifting
pipe. Its core parameters include:
Head: The vertical height (in meters) that a water pump can lift
water, which needs to be matched with the well depth and water
delivery height.
Flow rate: The amount of water pumped per unit time (unit: cubic
meters per hour).
Power: Motor power (kW), to be selected based on head and flow
rate.
2. Main types
According to the structure and driving method, deep well pumps can
be divided into:
Vertical deep well pump
Features: The pump body is vertically installed inside the well,
and the motor is located on the ground or underground, connected to
the impeller through a long shaft.
Application: Commonly used for agricultural irrigation and deep
water well water intake, suitable for scenarios with smaller well
diameters.
Horizontal deep well pump
Features: Horizontal installation, usually used for horizontal
wells or scenarios that require horizontal water transfer, with a
large flow rate.
Submersible electric pump (deep well submersible pump)
Features: The motor and pump body are integrated, fully immersed in
water for operation, without the need for long shaft transmission,
with high efficiency and compact structure.
Application: Household water supply, industrial water supply, deep
well water extraction, especially suitable for clean water
environments.
Other power types
Such as diesel engine driven deep well pumps (suitable for areas
without power supply), solar deep well pumps (environmentally
friendly and energy-saving, suitable for remote areas).

In the field of agriculture, irrigation of farmland, watering of
orchards, and addressing the demand for deep groundwater
extraction.
Domestic water: Rural households and mountainous residents obtain
drinking water through deep well pumps.
Industrial production: factory cooling water, boiler water supply,
mine drainage, etc.
Municipal engineering: urban groundwater extraction, emergency
drainage, etc.
