1.Description:
This instrument is a new type of device specifically designed for
measuring the plasticity of ceramic slurry. It is widely used in
the fields of ceramics, electroceramics, building materials, and
abrasive materials. This instrument has two measurement methods:
(1) Plasticity index method: This method determines the plasticity
of the slurry by studying the relationship between stress and
strain during the force application process. It is more scientific
and advanced compared to other methods, and is less affected by
human factors. It is applicable to cylindrical samples and defines
plasticity R to measure the plasticity of the slurry.
(2) Plasticity index method: This method measures the resistance of
the slurry to shape changes. It is applicable to spherical samples.
2.Main Structure and Working Principle
1. Overall Structure:
The instrument is composed of mechanical and electrical parts. The
mechanical part mainly consists of a reduction device. The
electrical part includes: a microcomputer tester, a pressure
sensor, a displacement sensor, etc.
2. Working Principle:
The motor rotates, and through the reduction device, it drives the
sample support seat to move up and down. When the sample comes into
contact with the pressure sensor fixed on it, a pressure signal is
generated. As the support seat moves up and down, it also drives
the iron core of the displacement sensor to move, generating a
displacement signal. These two signals are measured by the
microcomputer tester, displayed, and data processed, allowing us to
obtain the data we need!
