ASME SA179/A179 seamless U-tube is a standardized tube made of low-carbon steel seamless tube precisely cold-bent into a U shape.

Application
Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers
Condensers:
In power plants and chemical plants, steam is condensed into liquid
water. The U-shaped tube can expand freely to avoid thermal stress
causing leakage at the tube sheet interface.
Evaporators:
Used for liquid vaporization in refrigeration and chemical
processes, the U-shaped structure is compact and improves
evaporation efficiency.
Oil Coolers/Process Fluid Heat Exchangers:
Cooling lubricating oil or process media in petrochemicals and
ships, the pressure resistance of seamless tubes ensures safe
operation.
Boiler Systems
Low-pressure boiler economizers:
Recover flue gas waste heat to preheat boiler feed water, and the
thermal conductivity of low-carbon steel optimizes heat recovery
efficiency.
Low-pressure superheaters:
