Product Description:
Electroplated diamond grinding wheels are mainly used in the woodworking industry for precision machining of high-hardness wood materials or composite materials. They combine the super-hard properties of diamond and the flexibility of the electroplating process, and can meet the woodworking industry's needs for efficient, durable and fine machining.
Advantages:
Low temperature preparation: electroplating temperature <70℃, avoiding thermal damage to diamond (compared to brazing >900℃), suitable for high-grade diamond (such as SMD series).
High particle holding force: double fixation through micro-pit inlay + metal electroplating layer (nickel/nickel-cobalt alloy), abrasive particle shedding rate <3%.

Applications:
1. Processing of hardwood and modified wood
Use: Forming, grooving and carving of high-grade hardwood such as
mahogany, rosewood and ebony.
Advantages:
Diamond abrasive grains (usually 80/100) can efficiently cut
high-density wood, avoiding the frequent wear of traditional
tungsten carbide tools.
The electroplating layer (nickel-based) has strong bonding
strength, which increases the life of the grinding wheel by 5-8
times and reduces the downtime of tool change.
2. Processing of man-made boards and composite materials
Use: Cutting and trimming of high-density fiberboard (HDF), plywood
and wood-plastic composite materials (WPC).
Advantages:
The high wear resistance of diamond to resin/adhesive avoids the
failure of ordinary grinding wheels due to resin clogging.
3. Finishing of woodworking tools
Use: Grinding carbide woodworking milling cutters and saw blades.
Advantages: The high shape retention of electroplated grinding
wheels can accurately restore the geometric angle of the tool edge
(error <0.01mm).
