OV5640 camera module

• OV5640 is a high-performance 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor launched by OmniVision. It uses advanced 1.4-micron OmniBSI back-illuminated technology with low noise, high sensitivity and excellent low-light imaging capabilities. The OV5640 USB camera module supports a maximum resolution of 2592×1944 (QSXGA) and a frame rate of up to 15fps. It also supports multiple resolution outputs, including 1080p@30fps, 720p@60fps and VGA (640×480)@90fps, which is suitable for image acquisition needs in different scenarios.

• The 0V5640 camera module provides a complete 5MP camera solution on a single chip, designed to provide cost-effectiveness for the high-volume autofocus (AF) camera phone market. The 0V5640 provides complete camera functions, including anti-shake technology, autofocus control, and is easier to adjust than dual-chip solutions, making it more ideal in terms of cost, time to market and convenience of platform integration. Additionally, unique post-resample filtering removes jagged artifacts around oblique edges and minimizes spatial artifacts to provide clearer, sharper color images.
