The 1/18-inch sensor features a compact 0.9 x 0.9 mm package, wide field of view, short focal length, and low power consumption, making it an ideal camera solution for medical and industrial applications.

• The OV6946 medical endoscope module uses advanced 1.75-micron OmniBSI™+ pixels to capture high-quality 400 x 400 resolution images and videos at 30 frames per second (fps). The OV6946 micro camera module enables the design of minimally invasive endoscope modules with a diameter of 1.6 mm. In addition, the OV6946 image sensor module uses proprietary sensor technology to improve image quality by reducing or eliminating common lighting/power sources that contaminate the image (such as fixed pattern noise, smearing, etc.), resulting in clean, fully stable color images.
