The GE IS215VAMBH1A is an Acoustic Monitoring Card Assembly, a key component in GE’s Mark VI turbine control series, designed to enable precise acoustic monitoring for frame 6, 7, and 9 gas turbines. It integrates two TAMB boards, delivering 18 channels of signal conditioning and acoustic monitoring, working with one or two TAMB terminal boards to capture and process acoustic signals critical for turbine health assessment.

Featuring a front faceplate with three status LEDs, two D-type cable connectors, and rear backplane connectors, it incorporates Xilinx FPGAs, inductor coils, and nine 3-pin jumpers. Its high-impedance DC bias detects open connections between TAMB boards and charge amplifiers, with configurable bias options for signal lines. Buffered BNC outputs provide conditioned signals minus DC bias, supporting accurate data analysis.

Integration: Works with TAMB terminal boards and Mark VI Toolbox for configuration, supporting offline/online diagnostics and 40 ms frame rate updates.

Industrial Design: Robust construction with FPGAs, inductors, and jumpers ensures reliability in turbine environments, with backplane connectors for seamless system integration.
