Product Description:
Metal reinforced components, loose-sheathed stranded type, aluminum-polyethylene bonded sheathed outdoor optical cable for communication.
The structure of optical cables involves inserting single-mode or
multi-mode optical fibers into a loose tube made of high modulus
plastic and filled with waterproof compound. At the center of the
cable core is a metal reinforcing element. For some optical cables
with certain core numbers, a polyethylene padding layer is extruded
outside the metal central reinforcing element. The loose tube (and
filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing element to
form a compact and round cable core. The inner gap of the cable
core is filled with water-blocking compound, and the cable is
extruded and wrapped with an aluminum-polyethylene bonded sheath.
