Super-large-capacity transmission and modular upgrade
When configured as 10G system, 96/192-wavelength system framework
is recommended. The subsystem can perform modular capacity
expansion, with transmission capacities of 400Gbit/s, 480Gbit/s,
800Gbit/s, 960Gbit/s and even to 1920Gbit/s available;
When configured as 40G system, C band 96-wavelength system
framework is recommended. The subsystem can perform modular
capacity expansion, with transmission capacities of 1.6T,1.92T,
3.2T, and 3.84T available, addressing tomorrow's escalating
bandwidth requirements.
Single-wavelength 40Gbit/s technology
The 40Gbit/s system utilizes ODB, DPSK and RZ-DPQSK modulation
formats, which provide better signal-to-noise ratio and enhanced
non-linearity. With automatic dispersion compensation (TDC), it is
applicable to ultra-long-haul transmission. Furthermore, 40Gbit/s
service board employing ODB, DPSK technologies has high slot
utilization and lower power consumption.
Ultra-long-haul transmission capability
10G system configuration supports repeaterless transmission over
5000km; 40G system configuration supports repeaterless transmission
over 2000km.
Full support of OTN functionality
All line interfaces of ZXWM M900 equipment support OTN standard,
OTN overhead detection and utilization, and cross-connect
scheduling of ODUk granule, in full compliance with G.709 and G.798
Recommendations; ZXWM M900 supports TCM domain management overhead,
enables multi-vendor and multi-domain precise fault localization
and message transfer, thus implementing interworking of
multi-domain and multi-vendor equipments.
IWF (integrated wavelength feedback) patented technique
Combination of self-patented wavelength centralized monitoring
technique and precise temperature control further guarantees the
wavelength stability of 50/25GHz wavelength spacing system.
Highly integrated MUX/DMUX with low power consumption
The unique 80-λ MUX/DEMUX architecture allows for
multiplexing/demultiplexing of 80 wavelengths without use of OCI,
causing slot occupation and power consumption to decrease by 20%
and 50% respectively.
Wavelength add/drop function
Designed with flexible MUX/DMUX architecture, ZXWM M900 enables
agile add/drop of 1-96/192 wavelengths. It supports fixed optical
add/drop multiplexing (FOADM) and reconfigurable optical add/drop
multiplexing (ROADM) functions.
Flexible and mature protection schemes
Multiple protection modes are available: 1+1 path protection,
2-fiber bidirectional path shared protection, 2-fber bidirectional
multiplex section shared protection, subnet connection protection,
1+1 multiplex section protection and equipment-side 1:N OTU
protection. ZTE's innovative path shared protection technique
vastly decreases protection wavelengths used, saving network
construction cost.
Strong service access and aggregation capability
Aggregate STM-1(OC3), STM-4(OC12), STM-16(OC48), STM-64(OC192),
STM-256, FE, GE/10GE, FICON, ESCON, FC, ATM, PDH services into
2/8×GE, 4×155M, 4×622M, 4×2.5G, 4×10G, 8×Any, 2/4/8×FC, etc.
