P104-YM clip bearings have a single flange, where the flange is located on one end of the bearing, allowing the bearing to be secured to one side of sheet metal after installation.

How it works

1. Insertion: The angled slit allows the bearing to be easily inserted into a bore hole (a pre-drilled opening) in the sheet metal from one side.
2. Expansion: After insertion, the bearing expands, creating a snug fit within the bore hole and forming a lining.
3. Securing the shaft: The shaft is then inserted through the bearing, which prevents it from detaching, even during axial movement.
4. Compensation for Expansion: The angled slit also provides space to compensate for bearing expansion that might occur due to temperature or moisture fluctuations.
