The SH810 fully automatic petroleum product colorimeter is a specialized instrument designed for liquid color measurement with unique microcomputer control technology. Equipped with factory calibration and user-defined calibration functions, the sample pool is uniquely designed for easy measurement and maintenance. The platinum cobalt colorimeter adopts a D/0 measurement structure and integrates full band light source, single grating optical path splitting system, ETC real-time calibration and other technologies, achieving a resolution of 0.0001, a standard deviation of transmittance within 0.08%, and a chromaticity value of Δ E * ab 0.015.

The platinum cobalt color is expressed in Hazen units, with 1 milligram of platinum per liter of solution containing chloroplatinic acid and 2 milligrams of hexahydrate cobalt chloride solution. The general numerical range is between 1-500 Hazen. Suitable for determining the color of liquid chemical products with transparent or slightly similar platinum cobalt color codes to the reference, this color characteristic is usually brownish yellow.

Gardner color code: Cobalt chloride solution, ferric chloride solution, and potassium chloroplatinate solution are mixed in different proportions as standard colors, with values generally ranging from 1 to 18. Suitable for colors that are darker yellow or appear brown than platinum cobalt.
