1. What is a roller?


Rollers are crucial components in belt conveyors. There are diverse types of rollers, and they are used in large numbers. They are responsible for supporting the conveyor belt as well as the weight of the materials being transported. In fact, the cost of rollers makes up 35% of the overall cost of a belt conveyor. 2. Track Rollers Excavator Advantages / Features

The materials available for Track roller and Carrier roller are 40Mn2, 40MnB, and 50Mn, selected based on working conditions.
The rollers undergo precision forging and normalization before overall heat treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC 52-60 with a hardened layer depth of over 7-10mm (HRC 45). This enhances durability, providing high impact resistance and surface wear resistance on the contact surfaces.
High-quality floating seals and a lubricating system are employed to adapt to diverse climatic and temperature conditions. The rollers can operate under severe working conditions or climates ranging from -45℃ to 120℃, ensuring maintenance-free performance.
Track Rollers are welded first and then precision-machined on vertical CNC turning lathes, eliminating concentricity errors. This process offers unparalleled quality advantages compared to precision machining before welding.
This manufacturing approach guarantees the rollers against rapid wear issues, significantly extending their service life.
