The IC695CHS012 is a PACSystem RX3i universal backplane. This Backplane features 12 slots that supports high-speed Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) and serial bus connection. Backplanes are necessary components as it provides housing to the RX3i modules and connectivity. It also hosts the communication bus where internal communication between modules takes place.

The IC695CHS012 has a power consumption of 600 mA @ 3.3 VDC and 240 mA @ 5 VDC. It has physical dimensions of 18.01 x 5.57 x 5.80 (457.5 x 141.5 x 147.32) and supports horizontal mounting.
