Differences Between Hot Dipped Galv. and Electro Galvanized Iron Wire:
Hot-dip galvanized iron wire is produced by steel wire dipping into a heated and melted zinc solution to forms an infiltration layer with the base wire material.
Surface: Hot dipped galvanized iron wire has a dark, thick yet uneven zinc coating layer, while electro galv. iron wire has a uniform surface which is bright, shine, silver.
Cost: Hot dipped gal. iron wire consumes more zinc than electro galv. one.
Property: Hot-dip galvanized iron wire has a thicker zinc plating layer and strong corrosion resistance and good flexibility, while electro galvanized iron wire is less corrosion resistant, easily get rusty exposed to long time outdoor water, weather environments.
