Material properties
Chemical structure: The full name of PFA is
polyperfluoroalkoxyethylene, which is a high-performance
fluoroplastic copolymerized by tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and
perfluoropropyl vinyl (FPVE). The presence of carbon-fluorine bonds
gives PFA extremely high chemical stability and thermal stability.
Chemical corrosion resistance: It can resist the erosion of almost
all known acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents, and can
remain stable even in extreme chemical environments. It is very
suitable for chemical equipment, pipelines and other occasions that
require high corrosion resistance.
High temperature resistance: The long-term use temperature range is
-200℃ to +260℃, and the melting point is as high as 305℃. It can
maintain its physical and chemical properties in high temperature
environments and can meet the needs of high-temperature industrial
environments such as petrochemicals and semiconductor production.
Low friction coefficient: The surface is smooth and has an
extremely low friction coefficient. It is suitable for parts that

Application field

Process characteristics: Taking ACX-34 as an example, when
spraying, the substrate is generally roughened first, and then the
primer is sprayed. EK-1200 series and TC-1500 series can be used as
primers. After the primer is dried and thoroughly cooled, use an
electrostatic spray gun (voltage 20-50kV) to spray ACX-34 to
30-80μm. After spraying, immediately put it into the sintering
furnace for sintering. The recommended sintering conditions are
above 380℃ for 20min, and the temperature generally does not exceed
450℃ to prevent the resin from decomposing.
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages: It has super chemical resistance, high temperature
resistance, excellent electrical insulation, low friction
coefficient and non-stickiness, and is environmentally friendly and
does not contain harmful substances.
Disadvantages: The production cost is high, resulting in a
relatively expensive product price; PFA material has a high
hardness and is difficult to process, requiring the use of
professional processing equipment and technology; the thermal
expansion coefficient is large, and it is easy to deform in high or
low temperature environments, which may affect the bonding strength
between the coating and the substrate and the overall performance
of the coating; in some specific extreme environments, such as
strong acid environments, its performance may be affected.
